2018
JULY
The Rangers from the surrounding area will be holding a training day at the DFGA Gun Range on July 21. The Range will be closed to members and guests of the DFGA and their guests on that date. It will be closed the entire day and be reopened to Regulars members and their guest on July 22, 2018.
Also the range will be closed for maintenance July 17, 2018 from 8:00am until 5:00 pm.
This year we have tried to keep the gun range more accessible in winter months with periodic snow removal and if continued range use in winter is noticeable and funding is available it can become more regular in the future.
March 24th was the annual Wild Game Supper and as usual was a big success. It is due the generosity of the local business that donate prizes for draws and silent auctions that help in this success as well as all of the meal is donated and prepared by local members and their families and the community we belong to.
Also the range had a facelift at entrance in the form of rebuilt sign and some landscaping recently.
This years Hunter Training Course over the weekend of April 27-29th was attended by 15 students. It was the first program of any kind to be hosted by the DFGA in the new facility. A good time was had by both students and instructors and hope that future events go as well.
