Events 2022
- Highway Cleanup is scheduled for May 7th, weather permitting. If weather does not cooperate it will be postponed until the following week, May 14.
- Shooting Range Spring cleanup and maintenance is scheduled for May 9th,
- NOTICE: SHOOTING RANGE WILL BE CLOSED MAY 13,2022 FOR PRIVATE TRAINING COURSE.
- Trap shooting will be starting again in beginning of June for 4 weeks on Thursday nights starting at 7:00pm
- We will be helping with Highway cleanups this year but an exact date has not been set yet.

- It is planned for April 22,23,24 at the Dunvegan Fish and Game Facility in Fairview. The cost of the course is $25. The DFGA offers this course at a discount as one of the organization's goals is to help educate members and community about wildlife conservation and safety while enjoying it.

Events 2021
- Highway cleanup is scheduled by Dept.of Highways and is set for May 1, weather permitting. If not it will be rescheduled for May 8,2021. Meet at Whitelaw community Hall at 8:30am for orientation. Hot Dogs and refreshments to follow at Hall. Dennis Lof is our contact for more information. All volunteers welcome.

Events 2020
- DFGA held its September meeting and there is some important information brought up regarding the Alberta Fish and Game Association (AFGA), and Membership fees.
See the "Membership" page for more details. - Thursday night trap shooting will commence first Thursday in June and continue throughout the month.
- The raffle draws were made May 11, 2020. The winner of Winchester Centennial "66 30-30 is Christian Erfert of Wembley. And the winner of the Electric Boat motor is Ray Furgeson of Grande Prairie.
- The Highway Cleanup that was postponed earlier this year is now rescheduled for September 19,2020. DFGA is responsible for cleanup on Highway 685 North of Whitelaw. This is the same portion of Highway we have been responsible for cleaning for the last several years. Volunteers will meet at the Whitelaw school at 9:00am for safety orientation before dispatching to the start point of 685. After completion of cleanup, which is usually about 12-1:00pm, volunteers are invited to gather back at the school for a wiener roast and social.
- The Fall Trap shooting will begin September 10, 2020 at 6:30pm and is open for anyone who wishes, members and non members. Ladies and youths over 14 are welcome. If you do not have a shotgun, the club has some for use at no charge. The fee is $5.00 per round of 25. This covers the cost of clay traps. And if shells are required, the club has some to sell at $10.00 per box of 25.
